Cash-envelope checklist

Amounts are rounded up to whole dollars so each envelope holds bills only. Flat per-person tips get one envelope per person; percentage tips get one envelope for the team lead to split.

Who do you tip at a wedding — and how much?

US conventions, roughly: catering staff 15–20% of the food bill (skip if a service charge is already on the contract), bartenders 10–15% of the bar bill, hair & makeup 15–25% like any salon visit, band members $25–$50 each (DJ $50–$150), officiant $75–$150 — usually as a donation if they're clergy, drivers 15–20%, and photographers/videographers a flat optional amount, mainly when they don't own the studio. Every preset here is editable per row, as a percentage or a flat dollar amount per person.

Are wedding vendor tips required?

No. Tips are customary and appreciated for good service, but always optional, and conventions vary by region, vendor contract, and culture. Check your contracts first — many caterers and transport companies already include gratuity. This is a planning worksheet, not financial advice.

Do my numbers get uploaded?

No. The page is fully client-side; your vendor list is stored only in your browser's localStorage.
