Assumptions & FAQ
What does this include?
Pure playing costs only: membership fee, dues, member per-round charges (cart or trail fees), and your typical guest green fee plus cart. It excludes food & beverage minimums, locker or bag storage, range balls, tournaments, and social levies — add those into the annual fee yourself if your club charges them.
How is the initiation fee handled?
A one-time initiation fee is spread evenly over the number of years you enter (default 5). Set the years to 0 (or the fee to 0) to exclude it and compare on annual running costs alone.
Why doesn't this match my club exactly?
Conventions vary a lot: some clubs bundle cart fees into dues, some charge trail fees only for private carts, some have seasonal or twilight guest rates. Use the per-round fields to mirror what you actually pay, and treat the result as a planning estimate — not financial advice.
Do my numbers get uploaded?
No. The page is fully client-side; everything is calculated in your browser.
